Welcome to the web site of the Washington (DC) Chapter of the National Silhouettes of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. The Washington (DC) Chapter Silhouettes is one of many Chapters operating under a National Silhouette organization and serving as an auxiliary organization to Kappa men worldwide. The DC Chapter of Kappa Silhouettes has been in existence since 1969. The purpose of the Silhouettes is to assist the members of the Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., in promoting educational, cultural, social and civic improvement within the metropolitan area of Washington, DC.

As we go into our new Silhouette Chapter year with new leadership, we continue our journey to impact and enrich the lives of those around us. DC Kappa Silhouettes are diligently preparing to host the 43rd National Silhouette Conference, in conjunction with the 79th Kappa Alpha Psi Grand Chapter Conclave, on August 4 -9, 2009.

It is my wish that the programming we provide will help many in their daily pursuits. If you are new to the area and looking to engage a local chapter, please contact us. As we all move in this fast paced global society there is much work to be done and it's only through our partnerships, hard work and dedicated supporters that we are able to "Reach Out to Assist Those in Need".
